Sheena Patel, Founder of Sheena Labs

I spent almost 20 years in finance and operations, most of it at GE Healthcare, running financial planning, supply chain analytics, and complex project delivery across global teams. My view on organisational change comes from inside that work.

From there, I ran charitable projects funded by the BUPA Foundation, Peabody, and Google, delivering gardening workshops and financial literacy programmes across Bristol and London. We built two tech products with partners including Xerini AI and Softwire, one of which was shortlisted at the BITA Awards in 2022.

Alongside that I project managed the knowledge exchange programme at the University of Westminster, and delivered Generative AI training in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Most recently I've worked inside an AI consultancy, co-designing an enterprise AI Champions Programme and running AI audits for SMEs and larger organisations.

From "we should do something with AI" to a business running with AI inside it.

I work with leaders who can see the change coming and want to be ahead of it. That can mean a single audit, a six-week rollout, or a long-term partnership where I sit alongside the leadership team as the AI lead.

The path is the same regardless of size. Look at the workflows, find the work AI does best, redesign around it, train the team, measure what happens. Repeat.

How I work.

1. Start with the business.

Workflows, costs, and constraints first. Tools second.

2. Practical over polished.

A simple change that saves a day a week beats a sophisticated tool that needs a champion to keep it alive.

3. Adoption is the project.

Tools that nobody uses are a tax. Training and habit are part of every engagement.

4. Capability stays.

When the engagement ends, your team can run without me. I would rather be the consultant you call back than the consultant you are stuck with.

Like how I think? Let's talk.
