What is this?

What is the difference between AI Review and AI Rollout?

An AI Review is a diagnostic. Two to three weeks, from £2,500. You leave with a prioritised plan showing where AI fits in your business, where it underperforms, and what the rollout would cost. An AI Rollout is the build. Six weeks, from £6,000. We select the tools, deploy them, redesign the workflows, and train the team. Most clients run a Review first, then decide whether to do the Rollout with us or take the plan elsewhere.

How much does AI consulting cost in the UK?

Independent UK AI consultants typically charge between £1,500 and £15,000 for an initial engagement, depending on scope and the size of the business. At Sheena Labs, our published prices start at £2,500 for an AI Review, £6,000 for an AI Rollout, and £1,500 per month for an Ongoing Partnership. Larger consultancies and big-four firms charge five to ten times those numbers for similar work, often without the hands-on delivery.

How do I know if my business is ready for AI?

Three signs your business is ready. One: your team is already using AI tools individually, but the value is leaking because nobody coordinates. Two: you spend more than ten hours a week on admin that feels mechanical. Three: you have customers, processes, and content that have been settling for years and would benefit from a structured layer on top. If two of those three are true, an AI Review is worth the £2,500.

What size businesses do you work with?

Owner-operated and founder-led UK businesses with one to fifty staff. Independent healthcare practitioners, local trades, professional services, creative practices, founder-led service businesses. The sweet spot is five to twenty staff and a leadership team that can make decisions in days rather than quarters.

Process and outcomes

What ROI can I expect from adopting AI?

The honest answer: it depends on the work AI replaces. Clients typically see ten to fifteen hours per week of admin time recovered within the first three months, plus measurable improvements in customer response time and content output. Hard ROI in pounds varies by business model. A heating business saving fifteen hours of admin a week recovers different value than a clinic doing the same. We map this in week one of every engagement so you have a target before the work starts.

How do you measure success during an engagement?

Three measures, set in week one and reviewed at week four and week six. One: time saved per workflow, tracked before-and-after. Two: adoption rate, the percentage of staff actively using the new tools. Three: a leadership scorecard reviewing whether the engagement met the goals set at the start. Outcomes that resist this measurement structure, we discuss qualitatively at handover.

What happens after the engagement ends?

You keep everything we built. Tools stay configured in your systems. Workflow documentation is yours. The team has been trained and can run without us. Clients who want a long-term partner move to an Ongoing Partnership retainer from £1,500 a month. Clients who want to run independently take the handover pack and continue solo.

What AI tools do you typically deploy?

Tool selection sits inside the engagement, scoped to your workflows, existing systems, and team. For each workflow we are improving, we evaluate two or three options against fit, data sensitivity, budget, and how comfortable your team will be from day one. The brand names shift as the market moves. The discipline of how we choose, deploy, train, and review is what stays consistent. That is the value of working with a consultant rather than a list of tools.

Operational

Do you work with businesses outside the UK?

Most clients are UK-based. We have also delivered AI training internationally. Outside the UK, work happens remotely with quarterly in-person where it matters.

How quickly can we start?

An AI Review can usually start within two weeks of the discovery call. A Rollout takes a little longer to scope properly. Ongoing Partnerships can start the month after the call.

Do I need to know anything about AI to work with you?

Most clients arrive knowing the headlines and little else. The first conversation explains where things stand and where the value is for your specific business.

What if I'm unsure which service is right?

Default to the discovery call. It costs nothing, takes thirty minutes, and most people leave knowing exactly which path fits them.

Still on the fence?

Book a discovery call. Thirty minutes, no pitch. We answer your questions about your business specifically.
